Today’s episode combined Kit’s current storyline of his beef with Mick, and relationships with Bernie and Sarah, with flashback scenes to his teen years.
Our very own D.S. Swain made an appearance in the cafe, alongside Craig, opening her scenes with a stunning one-liner, saying she might print Kit’s quote about treating people by their actions and not their reputation, and put it on the office wall next to ‘live love laugh’.

Swain then informed Kit that Craig would be shadowing him as he undertakes a CID placement for the next two weeks.
Later, in the street, Lisa came across Kit and Mick having a scrap, and told Mick she would arrest him if she saw him touch D.C. Green again. Kit assured her he was handling it, and Mick walked off, leaving Lisa to instruct Kit to follow her.

Lisa took Kit back to the flat, where she ordered him to sit down. He did, and sat there looking like a child being told off (personal highlight of this episode, if I’m honest!). Kit told her that she could be scary when she wanted to be, but she refused to take his backchat and tried to get to the bottom of the problem.

Kit lied, of course, and told her that Mick had made a comment about Sarah and he had reacted. Lisa assured him she wasn’t going to report his behaviour, and Kit walked out telling her he didn’t need a lecture.
According to the schedule and spoilers, next week will see Craig’s last scenes on the soap, and Lisa telling Carla she wants to seize happiness where she can. I’m excited but equally not ready! See you then 😊
