It’s been 11 days since we saw Carla or Lisa on our screens. We knew today’s appearance was going to be short, and we got just 80 seconds of Carla Connor. Is that going to keep us going until Monday? Not too sure, might have to go back and rewatch their scenes. For the 184th time.
Carla’s scenes today were both in the Rovers, only the second time we’ve seen her in here since she declared her feelings for Lisa on New Year’s eve. She popped in for a quiet orange juice a few weeks back before being accosted by Sally who wanted extra responsibilities at the factory while Carla was recovering from her kidney transplant.

After failing to get Jenny’s attention to place her drink order, she muttered under her breath about not being able to get a drink her her own pub. Daisy’s mum, Christina, pointed out that Jenny is distracted by her phone as she so popular, and missing the man she’s chatting to online.
Sarah appeared by the bar, and Carla asked her if she felt the vibe in the pub had been ‘off’ the last few months, with it no longer being a happy place to get a drink.

Later on in the episode, Jenny brought Carla into the back room of the pub, and Carla said she can no longer wait for the money. She’s going to pub the pub on the market, as she doesn’t want to be indebted to Betsy anymore, after she used the money her late mother Becky left her to help fund Carla’s transplant.
Short and sweet today, but Carla’s feisty attitude is well and truly back and I am loving it!
Our next recap will be after Carla appears in Monday’s episode. We’ve also just had confirmation that Carla, Lisa and Betsy are all listed in the cast for the week commencing 21st April 2025. We’re back baby!
