Another short and sweet appearance for the wonderful Carla Connor in today’s episode. Friday saw her tell Jenny that the pub has to be sold, and this morning we learned that an estate agent had already been booked to come round and take photos.
Christina suggested they go out in style and cracked open the champagne, leading to a drunk Daisy making some sarcastic remarks to Carla when she arrived at The Rovers for a quiet drink.

Daisy also reminded Carla that her name is still on the deeds to the pub, I don’t think she realises how serious the theft of £247,000 was to be honest. Carla just has to go to the police (she has them on speed dial, after all), and it would all be over for Jenny and Daisy. She’s been incredibly lenient with them so far. Carla encouraged Daisy to stop her behaviour and Christina stepped in, breaking up what Daisy could have turned into a full on fight.

Once Daisy had been removed from the situation, Carla told Jenny that she really needed to think about telling ‘that spoiled brat’ Daisy about her plans to buy the pub on her own. Christina overheard the conversation and encouraged Daisy to take Jenny down.

So that’s the start of Daisy’s exit storyline underway! We know the theft of Carla’s money comes back to haunt her and Jenny, and her exit is going to be dramatic, that’s for sure!
Neither Carla or Lisa are mentioned in the episode synopses for Wednesday or Friday this week (Lisa isn’t in this week’s cast list at all), so we’ll be back with another episode recap when the Swarla drought ends next week!
